Tycoon RNG Secrets Guide

To begin, you may have noticed the button hidden near the crafting entrance under a tree at the centre island of spawn. This button should typically be green unless it has already been interacted with by a fellow server player in which case it will appear red. Pressing the button will turn it black for a few seconds, then back to red. Seemingly pointless.

However, one of the chatroom tips that the game offers is “The Owl knows what the button does”. Before you find the Owl, head inside the crafting room and speak with the Blob NPC. If you ask about the button, he will tell you that it triggers a Gate Switch but doesn’t elaborate further.

What we know about the Gate Switch is that it makes the puzzle easier to solve but isn’t entirely necessary to do so. If you do fancy having a nosey, the Gate is only accessible when the button is purple. Which, admittedly, players haven’t yet figured out how to do.

Where Is The Owl?

Truthfully, we don’t know! Speculation has brewed and players believe the owl isn’t actually in this current update of Tycoon RNG. The DEVs have shared that the Button will have fulfilled its purpose to the player when it becomes purple and it will scale off the luck of the server and apply that to the successful player who cracked its case. This is rather disappointing as we have teasers for the full thing, but no clues or finished results.

Update Log

Well, Tycoon RNG updated and the full secret still hasn’t unveiled itself. This leaves us wondering if it will slowly implement over numerous updates. However, a new button has appeared on the central island which is quite fiddly to reach given it is beneath the island. To reach it, you’ll need to parkour downwards and be very careful on the spikes at the base of the central island! Good luck.
