Tycoon RNG Meteors Guide

Now and then during rolls, a cut scene will play out showing a meteor crashing down into your Tycoon. Whilst mildly threatening, this blessing from the sky offers you high-rarity equipment pieces depending on their colour.

Meteors have the chance to give Droppers, Selling tiles and Upgraders, so there will be something for everybody hiding between the surface cracks of the rock. Meteors also guarantee that its drops will have a trait that includes either Overclocked, Golden or Negative. Or, if you’re lucky a combination of 2 or 3 of the traits.

Whilst these stats aren’t confirmed, it is estimated that Overclocked adds a 2.5x Multiplier, Golden adds a 25x Multiplier and Negative adds a 250x Multiplier to items.

Meteor Colours Meaning

It’s worth noting that the 1 in ??? is an eyeball estimate based on Meteors that I and friends have received. Feel free to correct me in the comments and I’ll update this guide as necessary!

• White Meteor [COMMON] – Typically drops a low-rarity item that is 1 in 1,000+ rarity.
• Lime Meteor [UNCOMMON] – Similar to Common in that it drops low-rarity equipment, but lingers closer to the 1 in 10,000 mark.
• Blue Meteor [RARE] – Offers better drops between 10,000 and 100,000 rarity. If you’re late-game with your Tycoon then the equipment will seem lacklustre from this tier.
• Purple Meteor [EPIC] – Gives equipment between the early to mid hundreds of thousands rarity.
• Yellow Meteor [LEGENDARY] – Chance for equipment in the mid to late hundreds of thousands bracket.
• Red Meteor [MYTHIC] – Gives items into the early-mid millions.
• Teal Meteor [DIVINE] – Offers high-rarity equipment into the millions.
• Yellow-Purple Combo Meteor [ARCANE] – Highest rarity Meteor offering items well into the late millions/billions rarity.
