Want to wield Urahara’s scary cane sword? Well, you can get pretty close! Our Type Soul Benihime guide goes over everything you need to know about the Shikai inspired by the bucket hat man’s iconic weapon. You might need to reroll a few times for this one, folks.

Type Soul Benihime Guide

First, we’ll talk about this in general, then go over the movesets.

About Benihime

Benihime, meaning Red Princess, is a Shikai element inspired by Kisuke Urahara’s Zanpakuto. It is a Mythic Shikai, which means you have only a 0.5% chance of rolling Benihime on achieving your Shikai, or performing a reroll. This makes it currently the rarest Shikai element in Type Soul What a flex.

Benihime Shikai Moveset

These are the possible moves unlocked at the Shikai stage. You’ll usually acquire only two of these when unlocking your Shikai, and you don’t get to choose which!

  • Z – Nake
    • Three projectiles, finishing us on a twister-like projectile that inflicts stun on anyone caught in it.
  • X – Portable Gigai
    • Drop a decoy and disappear for a few moments while being impossible to hit, evading an opponent.
  • C – Chikasume
    • An AOE move that pulls a target towards it. Users get autododge for a short time after hitting successfully.

Benihime Bankai

These are available after unlocking Bankai. When you activate your Bankai, your weapon changes form until the time runs down. This weapon gives your M1 large AOE effects, one of the big pluses of Benihime.

  • T – Aratame
    • A large aerial slash with a lingering AOE band. It continues to do damage for some time after it is cleaved.
  • G – Kannonbiraki
    • Calls the human form of Benihime. This gives you a 20% health boost as lonf as it’s still active.
