Unmemory is an Innovative Interactive Story About a Murder, Out Now on Android

Unmemory, the clever interactive story that, in the words of Plug in Digital, “lives at the intersection of literature and game”, is out now on the Google Play Store.

Like Blackbar, Device 6 and the forthcoming, coincidentally similar Lineweight, unmemory is a text-heavy adventure in which you solve puzzles by experiencing various media – primarily words.

It sees you playing as the bereaved partner of a murdered lady thief. Not only are you bereaved, but you’re suffering from a rare and untreatable form of memory loss. So you can add Christopher Nolan’s Memento to the pile of influences.

Plug in Digital promises eight hours of gameplay across unmemory’s eight chapters, as well as high-end aesthetics, an immersive story, and plenty of ’90s nostalgia.

You can download unmemory for $5.99 right now on the Google Play Store.
