North American organisation Complexity Gaming has brought on Ashley Chalk as its Vice President of Partnerships.

She will be responsible for growing the business through the development of both existing and new partnerships.

Chalk has accrued over 17 years of sales and marketing experience in sports and entertainment over the course of her career, most recently serving as the Senior Director of Global Partnerships for production company Feld Entertainment.

Prior to that, she held the role of Partnership & Promotions Manager at Merlin Entertainment, developing and managing partnerships for LEGOLAND theme parks in Florida and California, and Group Sales Manager for the International Speedway Corporation.

Chalk spoke on her new venture: “During this trying time, the esports industry can bring a glimmer of hope to brands. I’m looking forward to working with the entire Complexity Gaming team to develop holistic partnerships that will foster growth and innovation beyond our own organization and benefit the esports industry overall.”

Complexity Gaming’s existing partners include the likes of LimitExtra LifeU.S. ArmyGameStopMillerCoorsMSIPaniniWinStar World CasinoH4X, and Herman Miller.

There has been a slew of hires concerning partnerships made in esports in recent weeks. This includes Arica Kress joining Esports Engine, Brian Ta joining Tribe Gaming, Reed Trimble joining Bad Moon Talent, and Herb May joining Houston Outlaws.

Esports Insider says: Forging partnerships may be higher on the list of priorities than ever for esports organisations considering the current economic climate. Complexity Gaming isn’t short of partners when compared to other organisations, but there are plenty of other opportunities out there for it to pursue.
