ESI London to welcome over 100 speakers across two days

ESI London returns on September 16-17th at a new home: Twickenham Stadium. Following a fantastic inaugural ESI London last year, we’ve gone bigger and better this time around. We’ll be welcoming over 100 industry leading speakers and 500+ delegates to the Home of English Rugby as we bring our most ambitious event to life.

The Main Stage will play host on Day One to pertinent topics such as media and data rights in esports; the state of play in China and Southeast Asia compared to North America and Europe as well a panel focusing specifically on the UK industry – and how it’s building on a blockbuster 2018. It will also see the introduction of the ESI Brand Showcase, featuring players such as Riot’s LEC, and ESL who will present with a key brand partner – shedding invaluable knowledge into how to bring partnerships to life in the esports space.

The Side Stage on the first day will focus more on the traditional sports world, before looking at a variety of forward-facing topics in the afternoon. Hear from the likes of EXCEL and the RFU who talk about their innovative partnership thus far – or Christian Sorensen, CEO of North who will walk delegates through how F.C. Copenhagen created an esports brand from scratch. There’ll also be discussion around the convergence of pop culture and esports, mobile esports, sim racing and innovation in broadcast too.

The content doesn’t slow down on day two either, with the inaugural ‘The Clutch’ following a morning of investment panels on the Main Stage. From 10 companies pitching to a panel of esteemed investors, we’ll crown a champion – and hopefully facilitate some interesting investment discussions too.

If investment isn’t a topic of interest, however, there’ll be plenty taking place on the Side Stage too. With sponsorship and marketing being the focus of the morning, we’ll feature three panels covering everything from influencer marketing through to bookmaker activations. In the afternoon there’s a change of pace as, through a partnership with the Esports Integrity Coalition (“ESIC”) we’ll be hosting an ESIC track where delegates can hear from Commissioner Ian Smith amongst others about the regulatory state of play as well as discuss and debate betting and data issues.

Confirmed speakers so far include the likes of: Robert Douek (President, RFRSH), Moritz Maurer (CEO, GRID) Malte Barth (Founding Partner, BITKRFT), Patrick Mahoney (CEO, We Are Nations Inc), Spike Laurie (Venture Director, Hiro Capital), Xuan Li (CSO, LGD Gaming) and Seb Carmichael-Brown (Commercial Driector, Hashtag United) but to name a few.

Early bird tickets are on sale for another two weeks at £400 (excl VAT) before the price rises to £500 (excl VAT). Secure yours now!

Ollie Ring, Head of Business Development and Media at Esports Insider commented: “We’re being extremely ambitious with what we’re putting on at Twickenham this year. That said, I’m confident we can pull it off and have the best content you’ll see at any B2B event in the esports space this year. Save the dates – you don’t want to miss this one”.
