Ideal as an occasional chair, for a desk or dressing table, or as a dining chair – and customers tell us how it strikes an appealing balance with the crisp, straight symmetry of our Mallani dining tables and desks. The fascinating, sculptural piece is entirely hand carved from solid sheesham wood, its comfortable curves rubbed smooth and waxed to enhance and protect the wood. The decorative back is inset with traditionally hand-wrought ironwork, known as ‘jali’. Made exclusively for Myakka using responsibly sourced wood and fairly traded with Indian craftspeople we have known and trusted for years.
