Sony is adding Fnatic-inspired finishes to two INZONE gaming-audio products, with an orange H9 II headset and a Glass Purple E9 variant announced on October 6, 2026.

The designs mark a visual update for the existing products rather than a documented hardware refresh. According to SoundGuys’ report, the orange finish extends across the H9 II’s earcups and microphone windscreen, while the E9’s transparent-looking purple treatment also covers its bundled 3.5mm-to-USB-C connector.

New finishes, existing hardware

The INZONE H9 II keeps its existing internals and noise cancellation in the Fnatic Edition. Its FPS-optimised EQ preset is available beyond the new colorway, and the report notes no team-specific acoustic changes for the special edition.

The orange version joins black and white, bringing the headset’s listed finishes to three. The H9 II is positioned within Sony’s platform-agnostic INZONE range for PC and other platforms, and SoundGuys describes it as rooted in the company’s WH-1000XM6 headphones.

The INZONE E9 remains a wired in-ear gaming product. Its Glass Purple finish joins the existing black and white options, while the INZONE Buds remain Sony’s wireless earbud option in the same gaming-audio lineup.

Pricing and partnership context

Sony had not confirmed special-edition pricing in the report. It listed the H9 II at $250, against an MSRP of $349.99, and the E9 at $130, against an MSRP of $149.99; those figures describe the products’ displayed prices and suggested retail prices, not confirmed prices for the new finishes.

Fnatic is identified in the report as a London-based professional esports team. The organisation has also worked with OnePlus on gaming-focused Android performance and low-latency audio features for early earbuds, giving the new designs a place within its wider commercial activity without establishing a broader Sony peripheral strategy.

Fnatic’s competitive profile remains part of its appeal to consumer brands seeking links with esports audiences, including in Fnatic’s Valorant operations. The October announcement, however, confirms only the two INZONE audio color variants; it does not specify a release schedule or future products.
