Express Yourself Through Cooking and Serving Food in NETFLIX Toca Boca Jr Kitchen!

Even though it’s for kids, adults can also enjoy creating different dishes with the Toca Boca characters in Netflix’s latest game. It’s Toca Boca Jr Kitchen, which is a cooking sandbox, or more accurately, an open-ended cooking sim for kids.

The whole point of Toca Boca Jr Kitchen is to make increasingly questionable food and see what happens!

Toca Boca Jr Kitchen lets you experiment. Make a spaghetti smoothie or deep-fry a watermelon! You’ve got three characters to cook for, and each one has their own likes and dislikes. You can make your own recipes by combining ingredients, condiments and different cooking methods, with 24 available ingredients. The fridge has stuff ranging from oranges and broccoli to an actual octopus!

There are five different kitchen tools, including an oven, juicer and frying pan. And you can chop, sauté, fry, bake, juice things or just throw ingredients into whatever machine seems funniest at the time. You could boil a salad, juice a shrimp, or fry a pineapple.

The best part is feeding the characters and watching their reactions. They’ll use their facial expressions to show whether they’re into your creation or absolutely disgusted by it. And getting an exaggerated ew reaction is definitely part of the fun.

Toca Boca Jr Kitchen is created by Toca Boca, a digital toy and game studio that makes creative apps for children. The game also has a vegetarian mode, which you can switch on or off depending on which ingredients you want.

Toca Boca Jr Kitchen requires a Netflix membership, which comes ad-free and gives you unlimited access. If you have the subscription, get the game from the Google Play Store for your kid (or yourself!).
