Cosy Gardening Puzzler Urban Jungle Launches on Mobile

Urban Jungle is a cosy puzzle sim with tons of houseplants that’s now available on mobile. The game has been out on other platforms for a while now, with its first launch in March 2025 for PC. Published by Assemble Entertainment and developed by KYLYK, you can call it a plant-decorating game as well.

Turn a tiny apartment into a green little paradise

In Urban Jungle, you take small living spaces and fill them with plants, figuring out where each one fits best. There are some light puzzle elements, since you’ll need to optimise your rooms to unlock new plants. And there’s a cat, whom you can pet.

Urban Jungle gives you a curated nursery of exotic and beautiful plants, and each plant has its own ideal spot. Finding those spots gradually makes your apartment more comfortable and visually pleasing. It also helps you discover new species and expand your collection.

Lamps, humidifiers, plants and other apartment items can also be interacted with to change the atmosphere. You don’t have to worry about plants dying because you forgot to water them, and there’s no pest control system either.

And as the rooms change, the game tells the story of its protagonist through different stages of her life. Alongside the main game, the mobile version also includes the A Brother’s Wedding story content expansion.

Urban Jungle looks pretty charming

The game uses calming visuals, ambient audio and a deliberately slow pace. Due to its presentation, it has been compared to games like Unpacking and A Little to the Left. The secret to being an amazing indoor gardener is simply putting plants in good spots. I can get behind that.

On Android, you can grab Urban Jungle from the Google Play Store and play up to Chapter 3 for free. The full game is available for $6.99.
