Between Stars Is A Very Zen Physics Puzzler With No Distractions 

Mobile is kind of made for puzzle games. It’s a great distraction when you’re killing time on your phone. Sometimes you do need something to occupy your mind for a bit, that’s not going to put pressure on you, and that’s not going to try and annoy you into microtransactions. Between Stars is one of those titles. 

Between Stars is a spacefaring puzzle game that challenges you to use gravity to your advantage. You are piloting a space ship and need to reach your destination while conserving as much fuel as you can.

How do you do that? Well, a bit like real spaceflight, you can use the gravitational power of nearby objects to your advantage, by propelling yourself into and out of their orbit. The less you use the ship’s thrusters, the more points, or lumen, you earn at the end of the level. 

Low Cortisol Space Flight

Between Stars is intended as a pretty low-stress experience. There is no time limit, or lives system. You won’t even run out of fuel. You can try as many times as you want, and there are often multiple solutions to the puzzle.

You can, however, challenge yourself to beat you own best score. The highest scoring run is saved as a replay, so you can watch back if you want to.

The game is free to download and start off. You get seven levels free, then you can unlock more through a single purchase. There are no ads, no ‘you don’t have enough energy to play this level, please wait 30 minutes’ mechanics.

You can play the opening levels with no strings attached, and if you like the game, you can buy everything else, along with access to all future level packs.
