Heartopia x Dave the Diver Collab Is Here, So Go Help Dave Get His Gear Back

XD Games has teamed up with Mintrocket for a new Heartopia x Dave the Diver collaboration. In fact, the event is live right now! The collab promotes the launch of the mobile version of Dave the Diver, which arrives on September 17th, 2026.

The Heartopia x Dave the Diver event runs until September 7th, 2026

In this collab, Dave gets himself into trouble again. He gets lured into Whalefall Canyon by a beautiful mandarin fish and ends up washed up in the world of Heartopia. That’s when he discovers that his oxygen tank has malfunctioned. Even worse, the diving valve components have been scattered all over the seafloor.

During the event, you can explore the new ocean map and collect Diving Valves, which act as the event currency. You can also pick up extra valves by taking part in ocean cleanup activities and collecting various ocean collectibles.

Then you take all the Diving Valves over to the dedicated Event Shop and start grabbing the crossover goodies. There’s Dave’s instantly recognisable blue and yellow wetsuit, his oxygen tank backpack, other Dave the Diver-themed clothes and accessories, and furniture. You can also grab recipes based on some of the dishes served at Bancho Sushi.

All of the rewards in the Heartopia x Dave the Diver collab can be earned through ocean gameplay. The Event Shop will stay open until September 10th, too, so you’ve got a few extra days after the event ends to spend any Diving Valves you’ve collected.

Ever since its launch in January this year. Heartopia has dropped some awesome collabs. There was My Little Pony and SANRIO CHARACTERS before Dave. Although Dave the Diver is more arcade-y and RPG-ish and Heartopia is all about kicking back and living your best little life, the collab is still an exciting one to try.
