Little Kitty, Big City Opens Pre-Registration on Mobile with a Special AR Mode

Tiny open-world adventure Little Kitty, Big City is coming to mobile in late 2026. Developer and publisher Double Dagger Studio is dropping the simulation game globally on both Android and iOS. It first launched on Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC in May 2024.

So, soon you’ll be able to spend your commute knocking over plants, stealing bagels, and just being a menace. The mobile version of Little Kitty, Big City will include the full adventure from PC and consoles. It will have an all-new mobile control system with colourful visual cues and a design built around how a cat moves and interacts with the world.

Little Kitty, Big City Mobile includes a special feature

It’s an exclusive augmented reality mode. You can bring the kitty into your real-world surroundings and see its mischief, adorable hats, and purrsonality through AR. It’s a mobile-only addition, so players on the other platforms won’t have this one.

Apart from that, you get the complete story and all the exploration. That includes the Kitty Customizer and the full Picture Purrfect Update, which was released separately on other platforms. The game’s animations and humour do a great job of capturing authentic cat behaviour. Take a look at it below.

By the way, in the game, you’re a curious little kitty with a big personality who’s gotten lost in a huge city. So, you’re trying to find your way back home. Technically. Because there are way too many distractions.

You can wander around the colourful open world at your own pace, meet stray animals, help them with little jobs, and wear a ridiculous collection of hats. That peaceful catnap you started with turns into a full adventure through the city.

You can also decide to be especially mischievous. That might mean visiting a nearby shopkeeper and ruining their day by rearranging jars of jam, taking a nap in the sunshine, stealing a stranger’s bagel, knocking over fragile planters, or committing all kinds of harmless victimless cat crimes.

You can pre-register for the game on the Google Play Store. The mobile version of Little Kitty, Big City lets you try it before buying it, with some of the opening neighbourhood areas available for free.
