Cosy Noir Detective Game Case Solved: The London Files Launches on Android

Case Solved: The London Files has officially launched on mobile as well as on PC and consoles. The game comes from developer Minimol Games. It’s a detective story set in a cosy version of 1960s London. You’ll play as a noir-inspired investigator digging through London’s darker side.

London’s covered in fog, gaslights, suspicious people, and complex murders. Every case is a closed puzzle with a limited group of suspects, conflicting witness testimonies, environmental clues, and only one correct answer.

Logic is everything in Case Solved: The London Files. You’re supposed to carefully compare statements, analyse evidence, spot contradictions, and figure out who’s lying just by paying attention.

Visually, the game has a hand-drawn 2D cartoon art style with a cosy noir aesthetic. It’s got jazz-inspired music, soft rain, quiet moments, subtle shadows, and other little details that make 1960s London feel moody. Every investigation takes place across illustrated locations based on famous London streets and landmarks.

Case Solved: The London Files has multiple cases

There are three murder investigations in total, spread across nine crime scenes. The first investigation is Case File 01: Fatal Chord, set in Soho at a local pub. An American musician is discovered strangled in a back alley shortly after finishing his final performance.

Case File 02 is called Last Act and moves over to the West End at a theatre. During the final rehearsal before opening night, the lead actress suddenly collapses and dies on stage. Everyone backstage seems to know that her supposed sudden illness wasn’t nearly as natural as it looks.

The final investigation is Case File 03: Stolen Time, set around Westminster and Big Ben. One night, every clock mysteriously stops at exactly the same moment, and the master clockmaker responsible for Big Ben is found unconscious beneath the tower.
