Harvest Moon: Skytree Village and Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley Are Now Out on Android

Harvest Moon has dropped two of its titles on mobile: Skytree Village and The Lost Valley. The games launched on Nintendo Switch last year, so now you can play these two cosy Nintendo 3DS games on your Android phone.

What’s different in these games?

Harvest Moon: Skytree Village lets you visit the Oasis of the Harvest Goddess, where things have gone downhill over the years. The land used to be green and full of life, but as the Harvest Goddess gradually lost her power, everything became dry and lifeless.

Your main goal is to restore the seven legendary Skytrees that give the village its name. Bringing them back also restores the Harvest Goddess’s power and helps return life and prosperity to the land.

You can terraform the landscape however you like. You can play as either a boy or a girl, romance bachelors or bachelorettes, get married, and start a family. The game also introduces a completely new story, plenty of new crops and flowers, and expanded fishing mechanics that let you create waterways and catch rarer fish.

The mobile release of Harvest Moon: Skytree Village also includes DLC featuring cosmetic items and two additional characters. Check it out on the Google Play Store.

Meanwhile, Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley is about fixing a valley that’s been stuck in winter forever. You end up there after getting caught in a brutal snowstorm while hiking through the mountains. Every season except winter has disappeared, the Harvest Goddess has vanished, and the Harvest Sprites have been locked away.

So, you’ll spend plenty of time planting crops and raising animals like cows, chickens, and sheep. You can dig, build, and completely customise the land with its 3D terrain system. As you keep restoring the valley, you’ll unlock the full power of all seven Harvest Sprites, the Harvest Goddess, and the Harvest God. Grab the game on the Google Play Store.

So, will you build a valley or a village?

Both Harvest Moon: Skytree Village and Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley cost $9.99 each. Right now, they’re available at $7.99 for a limited time.
