Multiplayer Spooky Survival Game Don’t Starve Together Launches on Mobile

Don’t Starve Together has finally landed on mobile. It launched on PC in 2016 as a standalone expansion. On mobile, we already have two games from the series: the original Don’t Starve: Pocket Edition and Don’t Starve: Shipwrecked, which launched in 2015 and 2016, respectively.

Don’t Starve Together Mobile is all about multiplayer gameplay. Instead of surviving alone, you can play with up to six people, either working together or competing depending on how you want things to go. You’re dropped into a weird, unexplored world full of strange creatures, hidden dangers, and ancient secrets.

You spend your time fighting, farming, building, and exploring together. Build settlements, grow food, hunt for supplies, craft stronger gear, and head out on expeditions. Try not to forget basic things like eating or taking a break in the flowers every now and then before your character completely loses their mind.

The world is still procedurally generated, with different biomes, resources, surprises, and threats. You can starve, freeze, go insane, or get wiped out because you ignored the basics for a little too long. Farming is still important, too.

Since the game is balanced around co-op, enemies and bosses also have much higher health and deal more damage than they do in the single-player versions. On that note, catch a glimpse of the game below.

You can also tweak a huge range of settings to customize the difficulty level. Don’t Starve Together Mobile also has built-in controller support, Google Play Games achievements, cloud saves so your progress syncs across devices, and shared unlocks with PC and console.
