11 Jun Mobile Gaming Rusty Lake Reveals the Release Date for Its Next Point-And-Click Servant of the Lake June 11, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Rusty Lake has revealed the release date for their next point-and-click mystery adventure, Servant of the Lake. It’s launching on August 13th, 2026, on Android, iOS and Steam for PC players. The title continues the Rusty Lake universe story that includes Rusty Lake: Roots, the Cube Escape series, The Past Within, and Underground Blossom. Servant of the Lake lets you explore the unsettling world of the Vanderbooms You take on the role of a servant working inside the infamous Vanderboom house. At first, the job sounds pretty ordinary. Visitors are expected to arrive soon, housekeeping duties need attention, and the household must be kept running smoothly. The story takes place during the era of Aldous and William Vanderboom and is set decades before the events of Rusty Lake: Roots. You move through the various rooms of The House, carrying out daily routines while looking after members of the Vanderboom family. You also help the family pursue its alchemical ambitions, which later leads to some increasingly disturbing situations. That includes uncovering events that help fill in parts of the family’s history. Take a look at the game below. What’s the gameplay like? Similar to the previous Rusty Lake titles, Servant of the Lake revolves around puzzles. You’ll spot a heavy contrast between mundane tasks and bizarre mysteries. One moment, you may be straightening family portraits or doing the laundry. The next moment, you could be assisting with complicated experiments or cleaning up whatever mess those experiments leave behind. Visually, it follows the usual muted colour palettes and surrealistic, David Lynch-inspired aesthetic. Meanwhile, the soundtrack features haunting compositions created and performed by Victor Butzelaar. Servant of the Lake will be available to play on August 13th. You can pre-register for the game on the Google Play Store now. The full version will cost $4.99 on mobile.
