20 May GameNews Lords of the Fallen 2’s Epic Exclusivity Deal Canceled May 20, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment In 2024, developer CI Games signed a deal with Epic Games that would have made the Epic Game Store the exclusive PC outlet for the upcoming Lords of the Fallen 2. Now, the agreement between Epic and Ci Games has been terminated. CI Games has taken the unusual step of posting its separation agreement with Epic Games, which was apparently settled on April 14. The document explains that the delay in revealing its existence was because it would have “prejudiced the company’s legitimate interests” if it had been released any sooner. It also describes the breakup as “conditional in nature,” and it doesn’t elaborate any further on the reasons Epic and CI Games parted ways. The separation agreement explicitly states that it won’t affect the Epic assets that were used in the creation of Lords of the Fallen 2, including Unreal Engine 5 and any infrastructure that was built into the game to utilize Epic Online Services. With the original contract now null and void, it seems very likely that CI Games will release Lords of the Fallen 2 on Steam. However, that has yet to be officially confirmed by either Steam or CI Games. Lords of the Fallen 2 doesn’t currently have a page on Steam. The first trailer for Lords of the Fallen 2 debuted last year, and it revealed that players will now have to battle the gods who were potentially their allies in the first game. CI Games also released a 2.0 update for the original Lords of the Fallen just over a year ago, which added several new features to the game. Lords of the Fallen 2 is expected to be released this year for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The Best RPGs To Play In 2026 View Images Source link Facebook Twitter Email Pinterest
