Publisher Deck13 Spotlight and developer Just2D have rolled out DROVA – Forsaken Kin on Android. The grim, pixel-heavy RPG first launched on PC and consoles in October 2024. It’s inspired by Gothic and Celtic mythology, and it puts you amidst moral choices and intense combat.

DROVA – Forsaken Kin offers a handcrafted open world. The story revolves around a society tapping into its ability to capture and control the spirits that govern nature. That decision has consequences, as the remaining spirits react with anger.

You learn by observing your surroundings, picking up on environmental clues, and gradually improving your abilities. Combat is a flow-based system that uses different weapon classes, combos, and magic. You also get two factions to choose from.

Progression includes trading, gathering resources, crafting equipment, and seeking out teachers to learn new skills. At the same time, betrayal and conflict are also part of the experience. The world is associated closely with the spirits that influence nature, and you can learn to harness their power.
