Plinko-Style Roguelike Strategy PC Hit Nubby’s Number Factory Is Out on Mobile

Nubby’s Number Factory, the PC hit from last year, is now out on mobile. Developed by MogDogBlog Productions, the game tasks you with generating numbers, then scaling them upward in increasingly exaggerated ways.

Nubby’s Number Factory on mobile comes in two versions: a paid edition and a lite alternative. Neither includes third-party ads or microtransactions. The full version comes at $4.99 and offers the same content available in its Steam counterpart (at the same price). Grab it from the Google Play Store.

Meanwhile, the lite version is available at no cost and offers roughly the same content as the demo on Steam. Find it on the Google Play Store. The game runs smoothly on the AYN Thor, an Android-based handheld. Full controller support is planned for a future update.

A small spherical character named Nubby is dropped through a pegboard to build up totals. You take on the role of a low-ranking employee expected to meet strict production quotas while maintaining the stability of space and time.

Failure humorously results in having catastrophic consequences, such as the sun immediately exploding. The full version offers more than 50 unique items. It has an endless mode alongside 27 additional items, as well as 17 consumable food items and 14 perks. Each item and food also gains an upgraded variant.

You get 11 unlockable supervisors, 10 distinct challenge modes, and a final unlockable five-stage challenge. Additional features include the Black Market shop with rare and powerful items and Cafe Nubby for consumables. There’s also a Claw Machine minigame offering randomised rewards through capsule pulls.
