Bridger Western Stands Index

We didn’t expect this old west RPG-type game to be a Jojo reference, honestly. Still, when we found out that Bridger Western had Stands, we kind of had to talk about them. This Bridger Western Stands index explains all the ones in the game, and what they can do.

How To Get A Stand

According to the Bridger Western Trello there are two ways to get one right now. You acquire Stands through Stand Arrows or Stand Shards. This isn’t Bizarre Lineage though, there’s some serious stakes.

  • Stand Arrows may drop from Zombie enemies, with a very small drop chance. On using one, you have a 50% chance to gain a Stand. In the other 50% of uses, your character will just die and be wiped. Oof.
  • Stand Stards are a slightly safer alternative to the Stand Arrow. These are a potential rewards for capturing a gang circle. These have only a 2% chance of killing you, and a 10% chance to give you a Stand.

These are the Stands currently available in the game.

Regular Stands

Below are all the Stands available through the Stand Arrow or Stand Shard.

  • Crazy Diamond
    • Comes with a Healing Mode alongside regular moves like the Barrage.
  • D4C
    • Able to spawn clones of yourself, and switch with them, at the cost of HP.
  • Gold Experience
    • Health regeneration, the ability to change keybinds on opponents, which is a pretty nasty trick.
  • Killer Queen
    • Can plant and detonate bombs, as well as use Sheer Heart Attack.
  • King Crimson
    • A bunch of hand-to-hand moved, as well as a time rewind teleport move.
  • Mandom
    • Able to rewind time by several second, great if things aren’t going your way.
  • Purple Haze
    • Deals poison with their regular moves, and has a special grab attack.
  • Star Platinum
    • Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora-
      Also has a grab move.
  • The World
    • ZA WARUDO.
Comes with a timestop move, as you might expect.

Evolved Stands

These are upgraded versions of the Stands, available through completing some specific

  • Gold Experience (Requiem)
    • Unlocked by getting high XP and a high active Killstreak using Gold Experience.
  • Star Platinum The World
    • A chance when performing an opposed Timestop against a The World Stand.

What’s The Best Stand?

All the Stands have useful benefits, though we’d probably say Gold Experience uh… stands out right now. It has a good variety of abilities, and the capacity to evolve, so it kind of covers all the bases.

Are Stands Worth It?

Stands are pretty powerful, and will definitely give you an edge in Bridger Western. That said, they are a massive risk to a well established character. If you have an endgame build, and you want a Stand, then Stand Shards are by far the best option as they considerably lower your chance of getting wiped… though even then you’re talking about a 1 in 10 chance of getting a Stand, and a 1 in 50 chance of losing the character, so it’s not tiny odds.

In the end it comes down to whether you think the benefits are worth the risk… or whether you really really want to show off to all the Standless peasants. Then maybe risking a wipe will feel worth it for you.
