Pikmin Bloom Celebrates The Super Mario Galaxy Movie in Its Latest Collab

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is stepping into the world of Pikmin Bloom! The animated feature is releasing this Friday globally. Meanwhile, the event in Pikmin Bloom runs from April 1st, 2026, to May 31st, 2026. There’s another event happening simultaneously in the game.

After linking the account, you’ll receive a set of 3 consecutive missions. Completing the missions will reward Gold Seedlings that grow into Super Mario Keychain Decor Pikmin in different colours.

Mission 1 requires you to grow a seedling from the Movie Theatre category and pluck it. It rewards 1 Gold Seedling that grows into a Yellow Super Mario Keychain Decor Pikmin. Mission 2 requires you to walk 2,000 steps, rewarding 1 Gold Seedling that grows into a Purple Super Mario Keychain Decor Pikmin.

Lastly, Mission 3 requires you to complete two expeditions. It rewards 1 Gold Seedling that grows into a Red Super Mario Keychain Decor Pikmin. During the event, the probability of finding seedlings near Movie Theatres will be higher than usual.

It’s inspired by tulip festivals held around the world in places such as the Netherlands, Canada, and Türkiye. In these countries, parks, city streets, and neighbourhoods are filled with blooming flowers and colourful displays.

In Pikmin Bloom, the Tulip Festival event will run from April 1st, 2026, to April 30th, 2026. You can meet Pikmin carrying Klompen Keychains. They’re inspired by traditional wooden shoes commonly associated with tulip festivals. Bunny Egg and Easter Egg Decor Pikmin will also return during this event period.

You can obtain seedlings for Klompen Keychain Decor Pikmin by clearing Event Challenge missions. Each Event Challenge mission completed will grant Stroopwafels, seedlings that grow into Klompen Keychain Decor Pikmin, flower petals, or other items.
