Such is the cruel truth of modern life. But that doesn’t mean you’re going to have to forego playing something awesome on your phone or tablet. Far from it, in fact. As we hope to prove in our list of the best free Android games. It’s an in-no-particular-order count round of the best games that money can’t buy on the Play Store. Sure there are ads and IAPs, but there are also some awesome experiences waiting to be discovered. You can click on the names of the games below to download them from the Play Store. None of them will cost you anything to try out. And if you’ve got your own favorite free game, make sure you let us know all about it in the comments section. The Best Free Android Games Now, on with the games! Alto’s Odyssey A gorgeous sand-boarding sequel that builds on some of the ideas of the original as well as throwing in some of its own. It’s mesmeric in all the right ways, and once you start playing it’s pretty damn hard to put down. Call of Duty: Mobile One of, if not the, best shooters available on Google Play. It’s packed full of multiplayer firefights across a bunch of different, rotating modes. And you can enjoy it without spending a single cent. Among Us For those of you who haven’t been paying attention over the past couple of years, Among Us is a gaming phenomenon that took the world by storm. It’s an asynchronous multiplayer experience involving murder and accusation, set on a spaceship. And it’s really good. Card Thief A super smart card-playing game that sees you using a deck to sneak and steal shiny loot. Any of the dev’s game could have made it onto the list, really, but this one is our favorite, and we’re writing it. Battle of Polytopia Build a civilization, battle it out against other civilizations, both AI and player-controlled. This is a super-deep experience that will suck you in if you’ve got a penchant for massive planning and empire-building. Reverse 1999 Even if you’re not that into gacha, you may find some space in your heart for the time-traveling, globe-trotting adventures of Reverse 1999, an RPG that oozes style and flair. Vampire Survivors The reverse-bullet-hell OG, Vampire Survivors, is not only a great and fiendishly addictive game in its own right, it’s an exemplary example of a free game. In fact, the dev opted to publish the mobile version in-house to ensure a good port with non-intrusive monetization. Watch ads if you want, don’t watch them if you don’t. And pay for the DLC if it suits you. The Mr Rabbit Magic Show If you’re a fan of the Rusty Lake series, or just enjoy some slightly macabre puzzles, then pick up Mr Rabbit’s Magic Show, a free game that lets you figure out how to get through a very weird performance run by a man with the head of a rabbit. Sky: Children Of The Light There’s a lot of things you might thing of when we talk about a free mobile MMO…. and quite a few aren’t good. P2W, autoplay, endless grinds, chats filled with all caps item begging.. all that kind of thing. Sky: Children Of The Light feels like an antidote to all of that. It’s a minimalist MMO from the makers of the stunning indie game Journey, which distills interactions down and encourages you to both explore the vast world, and help your fellows where you can. You can feel your natural gamer toxicity melting away… maybe. Click here to read more lists about the best games for Android Source link Facebook Twitter Email Pinterest
