14 Mar Mobile Gaming Sonic Rumble Reborn as Sonic Rumble Party with a Special Smurfs Collab March 14, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Sega has revealed a new crossover event and a major update for Sonic Rumble, the fast-paced multiplayer title. First of all, the title is getting a makeover as Sonic Rumble Party. Second of all, it’s gearing up for a special collab with the Smurfs. Let me give you all the details on this Sonic Rumble x Smurfs collab. What’s in store? The collaboration runs from March 16th, 2026, to April 15th, 2026. During that period, you can obtain Smurfs-themed character skins through the Event Pass and the Red Star Ring Shop. The crossover also brings themed stages, letting you enter matches using characters from the Belgian comic franchise. Catch a glimpse of the Smurfs in Sonic Rumble below. Once this update goes live, the game will relaunch under the revised title Sonic Rumble Party. And it’s not just the name. It will introduce new features and adjustments that expand how the multiplayer system works. The first major addition is a new mode called Party Rumble. Unlike the existing multi-round competition structure found in modes such as Ring Survival, Party Rumble focuses on quick, standalone matches. It consists of simple minigame challenges. Each round supports up to 8 players competing in short contests for faster sessions. More than 30 brand-new minigames are available specifically for the mode. That makes the total number of stages in the game more than 100. Another addition is the Toy Capsules system. It’s a reward track which counts how many rounds a player completes. Progress through Toy Capsules unlocks Skin fragments, and as the system is upgraded, the pool of rewards changes. The system also introduces Puzzle Pieces that you can collect and use to complete puzzles, granting extra rewards including Red Star Rings. Several smaller adjustments are also part of the update. Red Star Rings will now be obtainable through the Season Pass. The Daily Claw Machine will increase its number of free attempts from once per day to four times per day. Sonic Rumble is available on the Google Play Store. Also, read our news on Physics-Based Game Melon Sandbox’s Creator Economy Crosses $1 Million Source link Facebook Twitter Email Pinterest
