Numberess Is Wordle, But with Digits and Numbers, Out Now on Mobile

A new mobile puzzle game called Numberess has launched on Android. It offers a daily number-guessing challenge that draws inspiration from the structure of Wordle. But of course, it’s not letters or words here. It’s numbers, or rather digits.

Is it weird?

The main idea revolves around a short daily routine. Each day provides players with 6 rounds, and the set refreshes at the user’s local midnight. In every round, the objective is to uncover a hidden number by entering guesses and interpreting the feedback provided by the game.

The system uses a simple colour response format. Green indicates the correct digit placed in the correct position, while orange shows that a digit is part of the number but positioned incorrectly. Grey means the digit doesn’t appear in the number at all.

You are allowed to repeat digits in Numberess. So, combinations such as 0023 are valid possibilities. That detail changes the deduction process because you can’t assume each number appears only once.

Alongside the colour clues, Numberess also provides a higher or lower hint. It lets you know whether the secret number sits above or below your latest guess. There are no streaks to maintain and no penalties for taking longer to solve the puzzle.

Numberess is pretty simple and calming as well

The interface uses minimal visual elements, making the game easy to read and accessible. It only includes clean typography and straightforward interactions. A Reveal Feature reveals the secret number and lets you finish the puzzle after 8 attempts in a round.

Each day introduces a new number puzzle. The game also tracks statistics so you can monitor your best, or lowest, guess count over time and see how your performance improves with practice. A Success column in the Daily Summary uses colour-coded progress circles to indicate unassisted wins.
