21 Feb GameNews Ys Memoire: Revelations In Celceta Switch Preorders Include A Bunch Of Extras February 21, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment First released for PS Vita in Japan over a decade ago, Ys: Revelations in Celceta quickly became a hit, garnering rave reviews from critics for its real-time combat and engaging narrative. It would eventually make its way stateside, and now a premium new version is coming to Nintendo Switch on June 30. Preorders are now open for Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta – Day One Edition, which comes bundled with a slew of collectibles. If you missed out on the original adventure–or want to relive it on a modern screen–be sure to give it a look. Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta follows Adol Christin–an adventurer who wakes up in the land of Celceta, but has no recollection of how he got there. You’ll follow his story as he teams up with fellow adventurers, unlocks the secrets of Celceta, and tries to piece together his forgotten memories. Combat is fast and frantic without becoming unwieldy, and its party-based mechanics give you plenty of space to tinker with your setup before launching into a fight. This version of the game features both the original soundtrack and a “newly recorded, reinterpreted version,” so you can listen to the old classic or a modern reimagining while exploring Celceta. Our old Ys: Memories of Celceta review from 2013 awarded the game an 8/10, noting its challenging boss fights, fun combat, and its constant sense of exploration and discovery. “Ys: Memories of Celceta is a wonderful adventure,” wrote critic Heidi Kemps. “It’s great fun to wander in the forests and dungeons, bashing foes and finding lost treasures to uncover ancient secrets. Hearing a sweeping synth-rock melody punctuate a flurry of sword strikes, mace combos, and stalagmites exploding into a shower of loot is a delightful event that you’ll experience countless times in the journey through the mysterious forest.” If you don’t mind playing on PC (or missing out on all the physical collectibles), you’ll find a digital copy on Steam for just $25. And if you’re looking for more Ys collectibles, check out the Ys X: Proud Nordics – Deluxe Edition. Available for both Switch 2 and PS5, it gets you the base game plus a mini art book and mini poster. It arrives on February 20, and it should occupy plenty of your time between now and Ys Memoire’s release on June 30.
