The Human Catification Project Continues with Yet Another The Battle Cats x EVANGELION:30+!

The Battle Cats is once again collaborating with Evangelion. PONOS confirms the return of its crossover event in celebration of the EVANGELION:30+; milestone. The Battle Cats and EVANGELION:30+ collaboration runs from February 21st, 2026 until February 25th, 2026.

Within The Battle Cats, you will encounter two limited capsule sets built around the Angels and pilots from the Evangelion universe. These sets also include a secret Legend Rare hero, specifically for collectors.

In addition to the new draws, this version of the Evangelion collaboration restores every limited stage that previously appeared during earlier crossovers. It effectively reopens themed battle scenarios drawn from the anime’s most recognisable moments.

Meanwhile, SUPERFEST is set to run from February 13th until February 21st, 2026, assembling a lineup of limited Uber Rare units. It includes Trixi the Merc, Agent Staal, Li’l Valkyrie, and Li’l Valkyrie Dark. A new limited hero named Squire Luno also joins the capsule pool during this period.

The Evangelion franchise has continued to evolve since 2007, when director Hideaki Anno launched the Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition film series. That initiative began with EVANGELION: 1.0 YOU ARE (NOT) ALONE., followed by EVANGELION: 2.0 YOU CAN (NOT) ADVANCE. and EVANGELION: 3.0 YOU CAN (NOT) REDO.

The project concluded with EVANGELION: 3.0+1.0 THRICE UPON A TIME, released in Japan on March 8th, 2021. The final instalment is currently available for exclusive worldwide streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
