The Valentines update is upon us, and we wouldn’t expect the devs of Scary Shawarma Kiosk: The Anomaly to give us a break, event on a day about hearts and flowers and all things pink and fluffy. There’s a new anomaly, and he’s out to steal your heart… just a little too literally. To avoid the fate of the heartless, we’ve made this guide on how to survive the Scary Shawarma Kiosk The Anomaly Cupid event.

How To Survive The Scary Shawarma Kiosk The Anomaly Cupid Event

We’ll run through the whole thing mostly in event order.

How Does The Cupid Event Start?

The Cupid event kicks off at some point in your shift when a customer arrives looking rather… down. He walks slowly, his head is down. There’s definitely something wrong. He’ll ask for a shawarma, and as you get started… he’ll burst into tears.

On asking, he admits that his got into a fight with a friend of his, and that she won’t speak to him now.

You’re eager to help… but you are a worker at a shawarma stand… so most of your solutions are shawarma-based. You offer to make him an extra wrap to give to his friend, in hopes that it’ll help her accept his apology.

Make two regular shawarma and hand them over to the guy. He seems happy… but lightning strikes right as you do.

It’s probably nothing, right?

The customer leaves in a better mood, but just after you’re visited by…

Oh no.

What Does Cupid Do?

The horrifying-looking thing above, is Cupid… or Cupidon… or something like it. This horrifying creature is upset that you disrupted some sort of balance by helping the sad shawarma man with his problems. Now, Cupidon wants to extract a price for this good deed.

Your heart, specifically.

You’ll see it draw its bow and fire at you.

When you wake up, the world is desaturated and Cupid lets you know what’s happened.

Cupidon took your heart away, and you have only a few minutes to get it back before your body realizes you’re without it.

How Do You Find Your Heart?

Now, this is a bit of a confusing situation. You wake up with no heart, a timer on the side, and grim warning to find your missing heart.

What do you do?

I guess panicking seems natural, but it’s not going to help. The event is unfamiliar, but it’s actually pretty simple. The heart is somewhere outside of the Kiosk. If you want to find it, you need to walk around, and follow the sound of a heartbeat. The louder the noise, the closer you are. Your heart looks like a squishy, anatomical version. Find it lying on the floor, and hold the interact key over it too… I don’t know… stuff it back in?

What Happens If You Don’t Find Your Heart?

What do you think happens to someone whose heart disappears? You were pretty lucky that you got three minutes to look for it. If you don’t find your heart in time, you will expire and your shift will end. Your do get the Heartless badge for your trouble, though.
