13 Feb Mobile Gaming Psychological Interactive Horror Heart of the Forest Lands on Android! February 13, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Wales Interactive and Germany-based indie studio Trapped Predator have released Heart of the Forest across multiple platforms. It’s a psychological interactive horror experience rooted in centuries-old tales from Germany’s Black Forest. What’s Heart of the Forest about? The project puts you in control of a mismatched group of students whose hiking trip into the dense woodland goes terribly wrong. What begins as an excursion into one of Germany’s most iconic natural landscapes turns into a struggle against a vengeful spirit trapped within the trees. Heart of the Forest draws directly from the myths and legends associated with the Black Forest, a region often depicted as both beautiful and foreboding. The game follows the students as they fall under the spell of a sinister presence hidden beyond the forest’s ancient pines. As the spirit’s corrupting influence tightens its grip, the group is forced to confront the external threat. And alongside that, they also confront their own fear, trauma, and secrets of the past. Take a look at it below! You guide the protagonists through unsettling scenarios. You determine who will survive the horrific journey through the woods and who may succumb to the dark powers lurking inside the forest. Avoiding corruption becomes as crucial as escaping the physical dangers of the environment. The narrative unfolds across multiple POVs, with perspective shifts letting you shape events through the eyes of different characters. The students’ ill-fated hike becomes the stage for escalating supernatural events once the vengeful spirit awakens. From that point on, the trajectory of the story depends entirely on player guidance, with branching consequences for each decision. Wales Interactive is publishing the game, while Trapped Predator is the developer. A horror FMV adventure, Heart of the Forest, is now available on the Google Play Store for free.
