PlayStation State Of Play Confirmed For Feburary 12

After some rumors in the past couple of weeks that it was in the works, the first PlayStation State of Play of 2026 has been confirmed for February 12 at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET.

Official PlayStation social media accounts have confirmed not only the date and timing of the event, but also that it will include “60+ minutes of news, gameplay updates, and announcements from game studios across the globe.” No word on what that 60+ minutes will include has been confirmed by Sony nor by any third-party developers.

PlayStation’s first-party portfolio for 2026 already includes MLB The Show 26, Saros from Housemarque, and two Marvel projects in Insomniac’s Wolverine and Arc System Works’s Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. Last week, Guerrilla Games also announced Horizon Hunters Gathering, a co-op multiplayer project set in the Horizon universe.

Major upcoming third-party releases that could also feature in this State of Play include Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata from Capcom–both of which featured in the Nintendo Partner Direct last week–and 007 First Light from IO Interactive. Of course, there’s also Grand Theft Auto VI from Rockstar Games, which is set to release in November.

The last State of Play to air came back in September, and it featured the reveals of Deus Ex: Remastered and Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered, as well as release dates for the aforementioned Saros (March 20) and Nioh 3, which released on February 6.
