Insomniac's Wolverine Tease Has Fans Convinced Daredevil Is Coming

Insomniac Games may have just quietly hinted at a surprise Marvel crossover, and fans think Daredevil could be leaping into Marvel’s Wolverine. The PlayStation studio behind the hugely successful Spider-Man games recently shared a cheeky social media post that’s sparked speculation the lawyer-by-day, superhero-by-night hero might finally be gearing up for a comeback alongside Logan.

The tease came via a Twitter post showing Wolverine extending his claws and turning toward an unseen figure, paired with the caption: “‘Claws?’ What’s that, some kind of fancy lawyer lingo?”

The joke hinges on a pun between Wolverine’s blades and legal “clauses,” immediately pointing fans toward Marvel’s most famous attorney, Matt Murdock. For longtime fans, the idea of Daredevil stepping in to deal with Wolverine feels very intentional.

This isn’t the first time Insomniac has flirted with Daredevil’s presence. The studio has peppered its Spider-Man games with references for years, including the Nelson and Murdock law office sign in the first game, its mysterious removal and eviction notice in Spider-Man 2, and its eventual return in a post-launch patch. Several signs pointed to a possible Daredevil DLC that never dropped, so maybe Matt finally gets to tag-team with Logan, taking on ninjas this time around.

If Daredevil does appear in Marvel’s Wolverine, it would mark a notable moment for a character who hasn’t had a solo game since his 2003 Game Boy Advance title. Since then, he’s largely been limited to ensemble appearances in games like Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and background nods elsewhere. With Marvel’s Wolverine targeting a release in the latter half of 2026 and still largely under wraps, fans are hungry for clues. For now, a single lawyer joke may be all it takes to get hopes sky-high.
