Multiplayer Co-Op Horror Comedy Game Tomb Busters Launches in Select Regions

Giant Game has dropped a new game on Android called Tomb Busters. It’s a multiplayer co-op horror comedy title that’s now out on soft launch. The unique thing about the game is that it changes tone depending on how many people are playing.

And how does it do that? Well, for a solo player, it leans into straight horror. Adding a second player shifts it toward an adventure setup. With three players, it starts to resemble a coordinated treasure hunt, and with four, it brings chaos and comedy.

Tomb Busters lets you work at Supernatural Company

A fictional workplace Supernatural Company has hired new employees. The company strictly prohibits slacking off, and survival is part of the onboarding process. The game sends the employees into unknown ruins as part of a trial. Only those who make it back alive with valuable loot are worthy of promotion.

So, you venture out alone or with up to three other colleagues. You explore mysterious ruins, collect rare treasures, and return. Rewards depend on the value of what is recovered, assuming the team survives the trip.

The ruins are filled with terrifying monsters, dangerous traps, and maze-like layouts that can disorient even coordinated teams. Every movement carries risk, while tools help in survival, exploration, offense, and support.

The enemies roaming in Tomb Busters are inspired by Chinese-style horror. Ghost Bride, Vixen, Queen of Jingjue, Puppet, and other monsters appear unpredictably. Also, beware since mysterious figures linger near ancient tombs.

So, which are the select regions? Tomb Busters is currently available in the US, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau. The team hasn’t revealed any details regarding a wider global release.
