ViVa Games has rolled out the Song of Eternal Ice expansion for its cross-platform 2D MMORPG Kakele Online. Now available on both mobile and PC, it focuses on reshaping how the game feels minute to minute. The update arrives after months of direct community input through surveys and in-game polls that followed the Gangan expansion.

So, what’s new in Kakele Online Song of Eternal Ice?

The game has been given a complete visual overhaul. Every single sprite in the game has been reworked and paired with a new colour palette. That changes how environments, characters, and combat effects read on screen.

The interface has been rethought with a redesigned Battle List. There’s an improved minimap and systems that reduce on-screen clutter so you can focus more easily on what’s happening around you.

The devs have also rebalanced damage, cleaned up visual effects, and added safer targeting options to make PvP encounters more strategic and less chaotic. ViVa Games is also planning to launch a brand-new PvP server.

A new Smart Hotkeys system allows multiple contextual actions with a single key. It will reduce hand strain during long play sessions. And of course, Song of Eternal Ice also adds new in-game content to Kakele Online! There are new frozen regions, featuring new creatures such as Yetis and Fauns.

Cosmetic progression has changed through the introduction of the Addon Token System. With it, you can earn all cosmetic addons directly through gameplay. It includes a new Raid Boss that features guaranteed drops.

Song of Eternal Ice also introduces the Meteor Event in Kakele Online. It’s a new global event that brings Meteorite Ore into the game. The resource is required for high-level equipment upgrades. Catch a glimpse of it right here!
