A deep and intriguing match-stuff RPG that sees you building a boat. After all, that’s what the game’s called. It’s got a sharp indie glee to it, and at times it’s almost impossible to put it down.

Pokemon Shuffle Mobile

This is probably the most simple game on the list, but it’s a lot of fun at the same time. Plus it’s packed to the gills with Pokemon. Swipe and match, get in fights, have a jolly old time. It’s a snack of a game, but it’s a tasty snack. This one’s free with IAP.

Sliding Seas

Yes, it’s that Magic. This game combines the iconic card game with Match-3 mechanics as you pop elemental bubbles to power up your spells. It comes with a PVP scene too. Who says matching puzzles need to be relaxing?

Ticket to Earth

A mixture of turn-based strategy and color matching with a brilliant sci-fi story about trying to escape a doomed planet. There’s so much to love here, and it’s hard to encompass it all in a single paragraph. Just give it a try and find out for yourself.

Puzzle & Dragons

Absolutely ancient by the standards of its genre, Puzzle & Dragons is a gacha that combined Match-3 with RPG mechanics, and lets you collect cool monsters along with it. This is along with fun art, and regular collabs with big name anime series. One of the few and the brave that has achieved the 5.0 average on Google Play.

Gems Of War

A similar game form the makers of Puzzle Quest. A Puzzle Quest 2, without the branding, if you will. It’s a solid game that brings plenty to the genre, and despite being around ten years old at this point, it still has frequent events.
