Tournament of Triumph Returns in Sky: Children of the Light for 2026

Last held in July-August 2024, the Tournament of Triumph is back in Sky: Children of the Light for its 2026 edition. Just like last time, it’s bringing spirits and snow-filled activities. The familiar competitive structure is also back, but with a few adjustments based on player feedback from the 2024 edition.

The Tournament of Triumph 2026 event will run from January 30th, 2026, to February 12th, 2026, in Sky: Children of the Light. The game is inviting Sky Kids from around the world to take part in a lighthearted contest that focuses on teamwork and daily participation.

What’s new in the 2026 Tournament of Triumph of Sky: Children of the Light?

This year’s tournament brings changes to how progression works and how players contribute to their chosen spirit. From January 30th through February 12th, you can support one of the participating spirits by engaging in winter-themed activities.

Participation begins by speaking with the Event Spirit, who will transport players directly to the event space located in the Valley of Triumph’s coliseum. Once inside the coliseum, you can vote for a spirit each day and represent them in the active bracket.

You earn progress by taking part in various sports activities, where they add medals to the selected spirit’s daily score. After the results are tallied, the winners are revealed the following day. And you can monitor how the competition is unfolding at any time by checking the sign displayed in the event space.

Both new activities and returning favourites from the 2024 Tournament of Triumph are part of this year’s lineup. Old challenges include crab races, snowball throwing, and flying challenges. On that note, catch a glimpse of the event trailer below.

By voting for spirits and returning to the coliseum after completing sporting events, you can earn up to five Event Tickets per day. Beyond the daily limit, there are 15 Event Tickets available as one-time pickups. You can also exchange these tickets for up to two new cosmetics.
