Warframe Reveals Android Release Date Alongside The Shadowgrapher Update

Digital Extremes opened the year with its first Devstream. As usual, it outlined what’s coming next for Warframe across multiple platforms. The highlight, though, is the Android release date and a major free update for Warframe.

So, what’s the Warframe Android release date?

The Android release date for Warframe is February 18th, 2026. Meanwhile, the next update, titled The Shadowgrapher, will arrive for all platforms for free in March. It sends players back to the ruins of the Vesper Relay to uncover the troubled history of a lost Archimedean.

The team revealed a range of upcoming additions. It includes a new playable Warframe, several new cosmetic skins, updates for Warframe on Nintendo Switch 2, and new TennoVIP community event locations. The stream also confirmed the return of limited seasonal in-game events with rewards, such as Star Days and Lunar New Year celebrations.

The upcoming update, The Shadowgrapher, introduces the 64th Warframe, Follie. The design draws from ominous inkblot imagery and reinforces the idea that creativity can be as powerful as brute force. You’ll enter a new game mode hidden within a haunted, abandoned painting and explore a fresh mission environment.

The update also continues Warframe’s recent visual upgrades, adding more distinct face options for customising the Operator and Drifter. Lastly, it reintroduces the ability to replay The Old Peace Quest. More details will follow in the February devstream.

You can check out the devstream to find out all that’s happening in Warframe.

Excited for the Android release?

Honestly, Warframe needs no introduction. You awaken as a biomechanical warrior, called a Warframe, with immense powers. There are over 57 Warframes with unique abilities, like healing a squad and blowing up hordes of enemies.

You get to team up with friends and take on missions together. The game is all about co-op play, and there’s a matchmaking system to help you find your squad. Pre-register for the game on the Google Play Store if you haven’t already.
