This digital version was first launched on mobile in 2019. The new expansion takes you away from Mars and toward the wider solar system. Terraforming Mars: Colonies DLC is massive Colonies expands the scope of each match by introducing off-world development through a new colony system and an active merchant fleet. Instead of focusing entirely on the red planet, you can now establish settlements on distant locations. You can then develop these settlements over time and trade with them for valuable resources and advantages. The addition of interplanetary trade changes how turns unfold. It might make you reconsider long-term plans rather than relying on familiar strategies. The Colonies DLC adds a large set of new tools to Terraforming Mars. There are 49 new Project cards that open up additional ways to invest in trade fleets or reshape established approaches. You’ll also see 5 new Corporation cards named Aridor, Arklight, Polyphemos, Poseidon and Storm Craft. On top of that, 11 Colonies are included, all offering different bonuses.
