Arknights Endfield Bonekrusher Executioner Guide

Arknights Endfield arrived on Google Play on the 22nd of January, and everyone’s racing to push through the story. If you’re new to this kind of game, either because you just picked up Endfield on a whim, or you’re used to how the original Arknights played, we can forgive you for struggling a little. So we’re going to try tackling some of the bosses, starting with the Arknights Endfield Bonekrusher Executioner. Then we’ll offer some tips on how its done, in both text and vid form.

We’re trying to play through Arknights Endfield as we speak, though if you haven’t started yet, we’ve put together another guide on the Arknights Endfield system requirements.

Where Do You Find The Bonekrusher Executioner?

The Bonekrusher Executioner is the first boss in the first chapter, and the second boss in the game if you count Ereignis in the prologue. He appears at the end of the section where you need to rescue Andre and destroy the Ankhor that fell into the Endfield facility in Valley 4. (If you’re not deep in Endfield right now, you’re probably wondering what on earth I just said.)

When you get into the old underground factor, you’ll find Landbreakers trying to break down the door. Fight them and open the door, and you’ll find Andre cowering on the floor at the end of the room.

After that a cutscene should trigger and you’ll be straight into the fight.

Boss Behavior

The Bonekrusher Executioner is a relatively slow humanoid boss. He’s got a small, relatively predictable moveset.

  • Short charge forward.
  • Large choreographed overhead swing.
  • Charged attack leading to multiple axe swings. (This is the one with the red aura.)
  • Choreographed grab attack.

Boss Tips

Now we’re onto a few tips for the fight, in case you’re having any issues with it.

  • Don’t be too passive. You need to be aggressively on the boss all the way through the fight, dodging only when needed, and closing the distance if he moves away. Giving him space will only benefit the boss.
  • Go for the stun. Try to land a stun with some combo ender skills. If you can do that 2-3 times the fight is pretty much over.
  • Watch for the red eye flash. This is his tell for an attack. It’s your cue to dodge.
  • If you see the red aura, start swinging. If you see the red aura flash up around him, then you need to hit him ASAP. Battle skills or combo both can work. You need to do this to interrupt his strongest move’s charge.
