The story begins on June 18th, 1973, with Audrey working late into the night at Archgate Pictures. She’s redrawing old frames from Joey Drew’s Bendy cartoons during an exhausting overtime shift. A simple break to get coffee turns into a nightmare when she encounters Wilson, the janitor. From there, Audrey is pulled into a twisted loop where Wilson attempts to solidify himself as the new ruler. He claims to have vanquished the Ink Demon 211 days before. But Audrey soon finds herself transformed into an inky form within the world of the ink machine. She’s forced to survive and navigate a studio that has completely gone mad. Ink-tainted enemies roam the halls, and danger can appear from any corner.
