Florida-based tech university Full Sail University has joined forces with North American esports organisation Tribe Gaming to launch an internship programme.

The collaboration between the two parties comes as part of the university’s aim to open career opportunities for its students and graduates.

Tribe Gaming primarily focuses on mobile esports and content creation, becoming one of the largest mobile-focused esports organisations in the West. The programme sees students and graduates receive training across several areas across production and content sectors.

The organisation offers paid internships and full-time opportunities for students looking to pursue a career within the esports industry.

So far, the programme has resulted in three Full Sail graduates from its Game Business and Esports and Film programmes who have secured roles at Tribe Gaming.

Full Sail University is no stranger to the world of esports. In recent years, it has collaborated with the likes of EA Sports and DreamHack on a range of initiatives, including the creation of educational panels at events.
