MRC Season 6 Schedule and Format

One of the biggest changes introduced in Marvel Rivals Championship Season 6 is that players competing in Professional Leagues will no longer be eligible to participate in the competition.

In terms of format, registered factions will begin their journey in the best-of-one Open Qualifiers, from which the top 128 teams will directly advance to the Double-Elimination Stage.

Squads ranked from 129 to 512 will battle in the best-of-one Closed Qualifiers, with the top 128 teams moving on to the Double-Elimination Stage.

When it comes to claiming Open and Closed Qualifiers rewards, each team will have to play at least six matches in each stage.

The Double-Elimination Stage will feature 256 factions. Moreover, matches from round one to nine will be played as best-of-three series, while the remaining rounds will feature best-of-five battles up until the Lower Bracket Final.

In the end, the tournament will conclude with a best-of-seven Grand Final, with the top teams occupying at least 25% of the league spots at Preseason and Stage 1 in each region.
