05 Jan eSport “I’m capable of more and ready to prove it:” CS2 player Qikert parts ways with MIBR January 5, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Image credit: PGL Counter-Strike 2 player Aleksei ‘Qikert‘ Golubev has announced his departure from MIBR following a three-month loan with the Brazilian esports organisation from PARIVISION. The IEM Rio Major winner joined the organisation in September 2025 as part of the team’s transition to an international roster for the remainder of the season. In an X post published by Qikert on January 1st, 2026, the player asked fans not to judge him “based on this strange season,” where he struggled to make an impact in Stage 2 of the StarLadder Budapest Major. MIBR failed to win any of its three Swiss stage matches. After reflecting on a turbulent 2025 season, Qikert expressed his desire to captain a team once again after competing as the in-game leader during stints on Into the Breach and while on Parivision‘s active roster. “There were many circumstances that prevented any of the MIBR players from showing their true level,” wrote Qikert. “Judge me and my future team by results. Playbook, structure, protocols, reactions, vision and everything needed to build a strong team is ready. “I’m excited to start looking for a new team as a captain. My goal remains unchanged. To return to Tier 1 tournaments and compete at the highest level.” Parivision In 2026 With Qikert actively seeking a new team for the 2026 season, Parivision has already made changes with the aim of building on a solid ending to 2025. Following a top-16 finish at the Budapest Major, the Serbian organisation parted ways with Andrey ‘AW‘ Anisimov before signing former Team Spirit rifler Ivan ‘zweih‘ Gogin as a replacement. Parivision’s 2026 campaign begins with the BLAST Bounty Season 1 2026 closed qualifiers taking place from January 13th to 18th. The top eight teams from the online qualifiers earn a place at the LAN finals with an opportunity to earn the lion’s share of the prize pool and all-important Valve Regional Standings (VRS) points.
