Weibo Gaming win 2025 Honor of Kings Challenger Cup

Chinese esports organisation Weibo Gaming has been crowned the champion of the Honor of Kings Challenger Cup.

After defeating Rogue Warriors 5-0 in the Grand Finals, the team secured the lion’s share of the CNY ¥3,500,000 (~$500,250 / £370,730) prize pool.

Weibo Gaming was one of 32 teams that competed in the Challenger Cup, which ran from December 6th, 2025 to January 2nd.

The organisation qualified for the event after finishing second in Annual Points standings accumulated throughout the 2025 King Pro League Season.

This season’s Honor of Kings Challenger Cup stood out from previous editions for several reasons.

It saw the largest number of teams gathered from across different leagues in the history of Honor of Kings esports, with 32 squads competing across Shanghai and Sanya in China.

Weibo Gaming’s journey through the latest edition of the Honor of Kings Challenger Cup was filled with challenges and highlight moments.

The team began its journey in Stage 1, winning 3-0 against Nanjing JIT and defeated WST 4-1 to qualify for the next stage of the event. The second stage was crucial as it introduced a double-elimination bracket for the first time in the tournament’s history

Weibo Gaming opened the next stage by defeating the previous year’s champion, AG Super Play, 4-3 in the Quarterfinals. The team continued to excel with another 4-3 victory against QingXun – Pojun in the Semifinals, followed by a 4-0 sweep against Rogue Warriors in the Upper Finals.

The Chinese powerhouse dominated Rogue Warriors once again in the Grand Finals to close out the tournament with a decisive 5-0 win and lift the Challenger Cup trophy.

Weibo Gaming’s Lin ‘NuanYang‘ Heng secured the most number of MVP awards throughout the tournament, ending his run with 12 titles in total. His teammate, Wu ‘TingYue‘ Zuo, followed closely behind with eight MVPs.
