FIFA Is Arriving on Netflix Games Just in Time for the FIFA World Cup 2026

As the build-up to the FIFA World Cup 2026 begins, Netflix Games is gearing up to add football to its games’ lineup. Arriving this summer, the game will be available exclusively through Netflix Games. Timed to coincide with the tournament, it will be developed and published by Delphi Interactive.

This comes four years after game company EA lost its official FIFA license. Since then, players haven’t had a proper FIFA-blessed football game on mobile. The new title will deliver a football sim that focuses on the emotional highs and lows of the World Cup.

What else do we know about the Netflix Games and FIFA title?

The upcoming title will be quick to pick up, rewarding to learn, and flexible in how it is played. Netflix members will be able to jump in alone or compete with friends online. The only requirement is, of course, an active Netflix subscription.

Netflix Games president Alain Tascan has described the FIFA World Cup 2026 as one of the defining cultural moments of the year. According to him, the goal is to strip football back to its roots and make it playable by anyone with a simple tap on their device.

From FIFA’s side, president Gianni Infantino mentions that the partnership with Netflix Games and Delphi Interactive is a major step in the organization’s push toward innovation in football gaming. He’s confident that the collaboration will reach billions of fans across all age groups worldwide.

Delphi Interactive founder and CEO Casper Daugaard has emphasized football’s global reach, calling it the biggest phenomenon in the world. He has explained that Delphi’s focus is on making the game as fun, welcoming, and globally accessible as possible.

The collaboration with FIFA and Netflix Games will surely capture the feeling of football in a way that anyone, anywhere, can immediately connect with. Netflix has recently enabled games to be played on TVs, using phones as controllers. The new FIFA title will sit alongside other recently released games.

Until the game arrives, you can check out other Netflix titles on the Google Play Store.
