Grow A Garden Old Servers – Are They Legit?

Grow A Garden players, beware! There are some promises out there about Grow A Garden older servers, and they’re not true. Don’t agree to anything until you’ve read this through.

Grow A Garden is available on Roblox. If you’d like to find out about the most recent content changes take a look at our Grow A Garden update guide.

Grow A Garden Older Servers Warning

If you’ve seen offers of access to unupdated servers, read this first.

Are Old Servers Legit?

In short, no! Anyone offering access to a legacy server isn’t being honest with you. According to the official Discord, there is no way to access the older versions of Grow A Garden. Roblox forces an update onto servers at a certain point. Even if someone managed to keep a server running since, say, the Easter Event, it would still have had to restart for the update. That’s just how Roblox runs things.

According to a Community Manager on the Grow A Garden Discord:

“Anyone claiming to have or sell “old servers” is lying and attempting to scam you. Roblox updates are forcefully migrated, meaning all servers are automatically updated to the latest version by the platform itself. It’s not possible for outdated or legacy versions of a game server to continue existing once an update is pushed. Anyone suggesting otherwise is trying to trick you, so don’t fall for it.”

If someone claims otherwise, they are not telling the truth, and might be, at best, trying to trick you, and is at worst trying to scam you for money, Robux, or to get their hands on your account. In any case, you don’t want anything to do with them.

Why Do People Want Old Servers?

Why would you want an old server? There are a few events that have been and gone that gave access to extremely OP plants. The Easter Shop had Candy Blossom, which is an insanely valuable plant which was only available through the event shop, and it was rarely in stock.

This means a lot of players missed out on super valuable crops. Sadly, you can’t turn back time, and you can’t access old events. Just hope new events to come bring some equally valuable crops to their own event stops.
