How to Get The Fisch Frost Moon Totem – and Why You Need It

How to Get The Fisch Frost Moon Totem

The only way you can get the Frost Moon Totem is by purchasing it for 5,000 Bells. You can find it inside the Igloo in the Glacial Ridge, which is a sub-location you get to by taking the Magical Train in Moosewood.

Bells are the new event currency, and the best way to get them is by selling Fischmas fish to the Merchant in Northstar Village. Or, you can find it inside presents or by completing quests. Our How To Get Bells In Fisch guide goes into more detail!

What Does The Frost Moon Totem Do?

When you use the Frost Moon Totem, it will trigger the Frost Moon event at night. During this, the sky turns blue, and you can catch the different Fischmas mutations.

But the best thing, and most important thing, is that you will be able to unlock the Cryoshock Cellear. To get inside, you need the Essence of Starfrost and the Essence of Winter, and some players are reporting you can catch these during a Frost Moon event, but we can’t confirm this at the moment.

Cryoshock Cellar

This area is a sub-location in the Fischmas event area, and you can only access it during Frost Moon weather. To get to it, go through the hatch found in the Northstar Village. You can follow these coordinates to get to it: X: -7799, Y: 173, Z: -17810

To get inside, pull the Frozen Levers found in the Northstar Village. Then, place the Essence of Starfrost and the Essence of Winter in the mouth of the Cryoshock Serpent Statue. Finally, use the Everfrost Key to open the gate, and you can go inside! To get the Everforst Key, you need to complete Santa Quests.
