Indian esports organisations Revenant Esports and Team XSpark have merged to become a singular entity.

As a result, the new organisation will now operate as Revenant XSpark with the goal of ‘redefining the esports landscape’ in India and the surrounding region.

As part of the merger, Revenant XSpark has unveiled its Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) roster that will compete across regional and international competitions. In addition, the organisation has been selected as a partner team of the 2025 Pokémon UNITE ACL India League.

To mark the merger, Revenant XSpark has recruited content creator Tanmay ‘ScoutOP’ Singh as its brand ambassador. Singh has amassed over 10m followers across his social media channels and also played a role in Team XSpark’s BGMI roster which secured back-to-back victories at the BGMI Pro Series and BGMI India Series.

According to a release, Revenant XSpark will aim to ‘build esports IPs’ in India alongside expanding its partnership portfolio. In recent months, Revenant Esports joined forces with Indian Premier League cricket team Gujarat Titans to host a grassroots esports initiative.

Prior to the merger, Revenant Esports was a prominent esports organisation in India. In January 2024, it secured a deal with hardware brand AMD which saw the company become the title sponsor for the entirety of 2024.

Rohit Jagasia, Founder and CEO of Revenant Esports, spoke on the merger: “Scout and I have a strong personal connection, and our brands, Revenant and XSpark, naturally share a similar fan base and values.

“This partnership feels like an organic next step. Scout’s holistic approach to content, spanning gaming and entertainment across multiple platforms, makes him the perfect ambassador for our brand as we aim to establish Revenant XSpark as India’s leading esports organization and expand our footprint globally.”
