Match-3 Puzzler Clockmaker Is Getting a Huge Month-Long Halloween Event

Belka Games’s Clockmaker has always had a bit of a mysterious vibe, thanks to its Victorian setting and frankly terrifying time-obsessed sorcerer villain.

So it makes perfect sense that this hugely popular casual match-three puzzler is going HARD this Halloween with an event that’s set to begin on October 4th and run for an entire month. 

The story behind this special event is that the people of Clocksville have received a mysterious invitation to a Halloween party at an eerie old mansion. You know the kind of place. It’s basically Halloween in building form, and therefore the perfect venue for this cryptic soiree. 

Everybody attends, but when the party is in full swing the guests receive a strange message and start disappearing. 

Fortunately, detective Sherclock is on hand to unravel the mystery and rescue the missing partygoers—ably assisted by Miraldina, a brave and clever witch, and you, a brave and clever casual gamer. 

Throughout the month-long event there will be all sorts of opportunities to win prizes. 

First up, there’s the Tournament of Champions, which sees you competing to collect pumpkins and climb the leaderboard. In the process you’ll earn Halloween-themed rewards, gems, and various other prizes. 

Then there’s the Pumpkin Hunt. This one involves completing levels to collect special tickets. These let you advance on a board filled with gems, boosters, and bonuses. It’s a great way to get in some practice while filling your coffers. 

Next there’s Pump-King’s Mire, which challenges you to complete levels without being defeated. If you can pull that off you’ll claim the event’s grand prize—but you’ll have to be quick of finger and nimble of mind. 

Lastly, there’s Spooky Changes. This event lets you get into the Halloween spirit by decorating your location as spookily as possible, while also smashing the match-three puzzle stages.
