Sorcery Simple Domain Guide

First, we’ll tell you how it works, then how to get it.

What Is Simple Domain?

To put it er, simply, Simple Domain is a way to repel projectile attacks and Domains that you would otherwise have zero defense against. As long as the attacker stands outside of the range of the Simple Domain’s circle when it’s cast, as long as it’s timed properly, you should avoid any damage from the attack, even if it would be guaranteed to hit otherwise.

This becomes extremely useful as you get into higher level PVP content, where opponents will use Cursed Techniques and Domain Expansion frequently.

You activate it by charging your Cursed Energy, then hitting E and the Simple Domain hotkey at the same time.

How Do You Get Simple Domain?

Simple Domain is actually one of the easier abilities to unlock, but you need one particular item to make things work.

You need to enter The Void, and unless you have someone who’ll help you get in, you’re going to need a Void Key. You get Void Keys as a rare reward for completing Missions, so keep on grinding Missions until you get one.

Before you head out, you also need 500 Essence for Simple Domain, we’ll explain why later.

Once you have a Void Key and the Essence, head into the Open World. Take a right at the block market ‘Teleport Back’ and you’ll see a large building with a gate on the front. Hit the hotbar key to hold the Void Key in your hand, and hit G to open the gate.

Head in and along a corridor to a room with a large elevator. Interact with the lever at the back and hop on for a trip to The Void.

In the Void, follow the path and look for an NPC on the left. This is Yuki. Speak to her and ask her to teach you something. She’ll offer to teach you Simple Domain for 500 Essence. Agree, and the ability is yours. You can die in The Void to get out again.
