Maid of Sker, the popular horror game is dropping on mobile. Developed by Wales Interactive, the game is steeped in gruesome tales of piracy, torture and supernatural mystery. It was originally released in July 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

How Scary Is It?

Maid of Sker is set in 1898 in a creepy, old hotel called Sker Hotel on the Welsh coast. You wander through this hotel full of dark secrets while listening to spine-chilling Welsh hymns. The story is inspired by Welsh folklore, especially the tale of Y Ferch o’r Sger (The Maid of Sker).

You play as Thomas Evans, whose girlfriend, Elisabeth Williams, invites him to investigate her family’s bizarre behaviour. But things take a turn when you realise the hotel is controlled by a creepy group called ‘The Quiet Ones.’

The enemies are blind but have super-sensitive hearing, so if you make even the slightest sound, you’re in for a world of trouble. And the worst part is that you can’t just shoot your way out of this one. You have to sneak around and keep as quiet as possible.
